Martin is based in Pivotal’s London office in a business development advisory role. He is an accomplished senior leader with more than 40 years’ experience across financial services, asset management, insurance and corporate finance. Martin holds an MBA from London City University and he has held board positions in the UK, Jersey, Ireland, US and Singapore and been approved by both the FCA and the JFSC.

Beginning his career at British Aerospace, Martin progressed through senior finance, commercial and operational roles in BAE’s commercial aircraft division. He then joined Marsh McLennan as SVP and subsequently cofounded Orbis Capital in 2001, a corporate advisory business, before becoming COO and then CFO of Excalibur Holdings, overseeing fund administration and Jersey investment structures.

In 2011, Martin co-led the management buyin that acquired BAE’s leased aircraft portfolio and formed Falko Regional Aircraft, serving as CFOO and later Chief of Staff. He led financial strategy, liquidity, debt financing, fund administration and business operations, making a significant contribution to Falko’s growth from 142 aircraft valued at $200m to over 200 valued above $2bn.
